This high performance microliter centrifuge is
perfect for applications requiring higher g-forces, such
as pelleting DNA.
Technological advances, including smaller motors,
compact microprocessors and lightweight construction
materials, have contributed to the design of the powerful
Force 1624 microliter centrifuges. Small
in size, it has not sacrificed on quality and durability.
The advanced electronics maintain tight control over
operating parameters. Values are set with the
membrane keypad and displayed digitally. Speed can
be set and displayed in rpm or rcf.
A brushless, maintenance free motor provides for
fast acceleration and smooth operation. Airflow
patterns within the chamber have been engineered
to keep samples cool and help to reduce rotor
noise.
The Force 1624 is supplied complete with
removable, autoclavable rotors. Individual tube slots in
the rotors support the tubes to reduce the incidence of
tube breakage. The rotor accepts twenty four 1.5 ml tubes directly
and smaller tubes with adapters. The Force 1624 is designed for use in refrigerated environments. |
